Hi folks, been lurking around here off an on for years and thought its time to sign up.

I'm a bicycle and motorcycle geek and like to extend fuel efficiency to my car too. I'm also fascinated by efficient hull designs, having built a couple kayaks. Not surprisingly, I haven't found myself boat much since here in the arid Southwest.

"Eco Modding", (el cheapo modding is probably closer to the truth) is kind of a family tradition. Here is a picture of my Grandfather from the August 1947 issue of Popular Mechanics: [guess I'll have to post a bit more to show the picture]
