Greetings from Sacramento, CA

I have joined the group to discover ways to improve the fuel mileage of my 2019 Toyota Tacoma, 3.5L V6, 4WD.

Can you suggest a starting point of thread(s) for me to begin learning?

I'm a huge law enforcement, K-9 Unit supporter. I have done volunteer work for years for many K-9 Units to help them raise money to protect and care for their current and retired K-9s.

Welcome.

In addition to the various subforums, there exists a Wiki: ecomodder.com/wiki/Main_Page

Is it still fitted with an engine-driven radiator fan like the overseas Hilux?

Open the hood and take a look around the fan assembly, keep an eye for belts and pulleys, or if there is a larger gap between radiator and engine. Usually a more compact electric fan assembly would leave that larger gap, with the fan much closer to the radiator.

I can easily turn my radiator fan with just my hands and it has no belts, so it looks like an electric fan to me.

Aeromods? (Sloping "camper shell")

2WD conversion?

Automatic or manual?

Would pulse and gliding work?

Is there a diesel Hiliux that you could find a motor from and do a diesel conversion?

Don't know if that is an option BUT manual disengage front hubs help as does skinny tires unless gou do mudding a lot. Opinions vary on skinny tires for mud. Hows THE APCD there for inspection?
