I always "felt" faster with shaved,... back when I used to ride a lot. If I could feel the air on my leg hair I would "know" that it was slowing me down. I never noticed this affect when I shaved. Lately I don't shave because I don't ride much (too much effort). I'll admit if feels/looks weird though.
If you feel faster you ride faster!!!
