Wishing the Dads here a great day!

My 28 yr old daughter has recently started having discussions w/ about getting better mpg in her next vehicle!!
Her first car was a used 2005 jetta tha was totaled ( not her fault) after just 4 months.
Her second was a 2007 Kia Sportage. Got her 'safely' thru college.
Her current car is a 2011 Ford Edge.
While she has always paid her own gas, she is realizing that there are opportunities to get better mileage. She had even discussed a hybrid SUV or even a Prius!
She lives in Austin so she comutes in traffic 90% of the time. The 18mpg average in the Edge screen is starting to hit home! I had mentioned on this site when she first bought it, that that information screen needed to be large and more obvious.
Just a nice daughter story to share on Father's Day!

LOl, I have identical twin sons that are also 28, and both are members here on Ecomodder and also drive G1 Insights! I guess dads really can have an effect on people, even if it is mostly our immediate family.
