I gotta have to agree with you on that. At least here in Brazil, there is an awful lot of ricers purposefully annoying everyone else on the streets not just with stereo but also lowering their cars to a point that they effectively block traffic while trying to overcome pot holes and speed bumps. That actually bothers me more than noisy Harleys.

Heh. If your "performance" mod means you can't drive it, it's less of a performance mod than you think.

Many many many many Harleys around here. To be honest I think the sound levels are trending downwards, especially compared to the 1960's through the 80's. Those folks on the Harleys are getting older too.
My current old guy rants tend towards diesel pickup idiots "rolling coal" and young women in Jettas chewing gum while texting and, oh yeah, tailgating.

I like Diesel engines but I'm not into that coal-rolling deal, since it's basically wasting fuel. |
