You are well aware that the bulk of your associates DO the revving/rapping thing just to tee everybody off right? Don't deny it.

Quite aware of that. I am personally defending myself and my own habits. Not the habits of my counter-parts who wear shorts and sandals with a corona shirt and sunglasses who think it's awesome to do wheelies down the highway while lanesplitting doing 150mph. I would prefer not to put myself into that bin, however, upon re-reading my initial response here i can see how this was misinterpreted. I am not a hoodlum, simply prefer to hear my bike. I've sent you a pm for a hopeful clarification, since i respect you and your posts on this forum and don't wish to be seen as "That annoying biker guy who makes loud noises and annoys the crap out of people." but do other sportbikers do that? Oh god yes.

Eh, I don't think hoi is trolling. But I do wish he'd muffle that thing just the same.

And I'd like to make it known to those sort of people that those looks they get are NOT looks of admiration.

I'm not sure why i'm being called a troll. I think this is unfair. I've been here before and decided to come back? I get in a debate on an exhaust noise thread and now i'm a troll? If i were trolling i'd be trying to stir things up, on the contrary, i'm just talking.

(unless this is a joke like metrompg and is yanking my chain again, i'm horrible at reading when people are joking)

Frank Lee - not sure if you are aware of the "noisy ducati clutch" thing. But i found this to be quite funny. Since it seems to be a universal dry clutch ducati joke... the 848 is a wet clutch, and this guy found a way to mimic it to sound like "the real deal!" You might get a kick out of it.
