In what I understand about the difference between a model airplane and a full scale airplane I don't think scale tests tell you much.

Why not just put those little ribbons on the car and drive it filming the surface?

Thanks for all your responses. I was curious to see if the leaf blower was a valid tool to tuft testing. I will say that most people are not "ecomodders" nor do they have the love to "ecomod" so its difficult to attempt quasi-scientific tests on various mods myself. Prior to posting this thread and with my leaf blower, I had a shot at administering some tests.
