Has my E85 kit thingy been helping me make the most of my Regular Gas?

It crossed my mind the other day, that this e85 kit I have may be partially responsible for my great gas mileage, since 10% ethanol is added to Regular Unleaded Gasoline.

Unfortunately, I didn't do any MPG tracking before I installed the kit a few years ago, though.

I do not know what you added but I assume that you changed one or all of the following injectors, Fuel pressure regulator, and fuel pump. By changing the injectors you might have a better spray pattern and atomization allowing for the fuel to more easily burn completely. The last two can increase fuel pressure and the amount of fuel the injectors can push, the effect is similar to replacing the injectors.

Other wise it could just be in your mind and the change in weather.
