8 minutes, or .133 hours, times $20/hour is $2.66 saved per day... maximum. How long does it take to setup before use? Simply looking at how fast a single lug takes is not looking at the entire process. Also, that time saved means less income for the mechanic and shop because they charge by the hour....

I can see this being great for production lines and I assume that is already an automated process where an electric machine is measuring the torque as it tightens the lugs.

It's a knockoff adapter. Converts hubs with a 4- or 5-bolt lug pattern to a single spin-on nut. All you need is a different set of wheels.

Thanks. So, that is a spacer, and the new rim sits against the lug nuts? How quickly can you take off or put on the single spin-on nut?

I would think you could find a drivable Corvette for $2,400 or less. Looking in the Phoenix area I found a Corvette body. Perfect! Drop that on a stretched Metro and call it a day!
Also a Jeep Cherokee, a Kia Sorento, and a Honda Accord.

Can you imagine a world where you search for Corvettes and only find Corvettes?

Here is a 1985 in Flagstaff for $2,100, negotiable:

The pictures are terrible. Who knows if the car is any good, but it is as good a base as any for some $2,400 rims!

I guess I should have used words.

In the 1950s it was SOP to fit MGA hubs to your Beetle. Here's an example Type III. I know the guy. He drove this around to sell chicken eggs by the dozen.

Too many words, you didn't need to know about the eggs.
