Talking Hello

I was browsing ABG and thought I would join. Already a gassavers member can't hurt to be here too. My real name is Josh and no thats not my baby in the pic. That is now my favorite cousin. My cousin had her baby(major complications) and I finally got to hold him XD I have a 2007 Toyota Yaris 3dr Meteoric Silver. Only option on that car is Slushbox and Cd player with mp3 and ipod connectivity. My daily commute is now under 2miles and in the summer I will be biking(or investing in a BugE). I'm also OCD about keeping my car clean and believe that a clean car slips better through the air. Ask away

Hey Yaristock, welcome.

Only one question...

Why did you go slushy?

I just blew up my Ford Tbird and wanted a Yaris. it was when they first came out(got it for my b-day, my moms downpayment was my bday present) and it was the only one in the state at the time. It was everything I wanted. I can't drive stick anyways. We had a tornado a few days prior so I was hoping for a damage discount but luckily it came out unscathed.

Fair enough! Can't fault anyone for going from a T-bird to a Yaris/slushbox.

I do like the cars. I do believe an Echo/Yaris would be on my short list if I had to replace the Firefly.

There were two cars in line before I found the Yaris one was a MG Midget and the other a Metro Sedan. But Toyota offered better benefits, like a warranty and a heater. My sister previously had a 1991 Prism and I fell in love with the Geo brand. If I could find a Storm I would have bought it. If GM and Toyota ever collaborated again and begin making Geo/or other company I think i could die happy.

Ah, but they do: the Pontiac Vibe is a General Yota combo vehicle. (And not a terrible choice from a FE perspective, either.)

Wouldn't you have been worried about dying in the midget? Sweet car though.

Indeed, my high school science teacher's dad has two of them...I might see if one is for sale.
