Hello all
I ran across this website from a Yahoo article. I have been interested in higher milage and hybrids for quite a while and am on my 6th tank of gas with my newly modified driving habits. I have seen an average of 3 to 4 MPG increase so far and am interested in more! I am curious to talk to everyone, especially any other Chevy Aveo owners. I really want a Hybrid but must wait a few years to be able to make a trade in on my Aveo without loosing money.

Hypermiler
It is on the Yahoo home page today- it links to an ABC news story about hypermiling. Very informative

Welcome to the site. I agree with SVOboy, you can definitly eek some better mileage out of the car. However, you not off to a horrible start.

I love it so far. When I bought it I was going for a few things. #1 was the gas mileage, #2 was a lower car payment and #3 was lower insurance rates. Seeing that the car was $9800 new I think I is a great value, although the economy package comes with 0 options.

Welcome, Unclecueball -
I don't know if you've seen any posts by "homeworkhome" yet, but he's got a manual Aveo, and he's squeezing some really impressive fuel economy out of it.
