Hello from Chas, SC

I've been looking around at this site for @ 6 months or so. Love the things that you guys make/test, the rational discussions, learned alot so far. My car is an 99 Audi A4 Avant 1.8t quattro w/5 speed manual, mods are GIAC chip, lighter wheels, carbon fiber hood, RS style front bumper cover (non essential openings now have grill blocks) with more mods coming soon. Before the ethanol was thrust upon us, used to get 30mpg average, now struggle to get to 28 (a good week), but right now sitting at 26.5, not bad but not what it was. Have employed a few hypermiling techniques and see a return, steep learning curve when you've hot rodded most of your life. Also have the wife's family hauler 2004 Pontiac Montana, will be modding it also. So my adventure begins.......

The A4 will receive a full belly pan and seal up the air gaps up is next, the Montana will start with grill blocks and see where we go from there.

Roof rack delete on the Montana might be an idea too.

Fun with a Montana:
