Hello from Detroit

Happy to be aboard. Just bought a 2007 Ranger XL 4cyl 5spd without A/C...rubber, not carpet etc....thought it was a good base choice...heading to SC to pick it up this weekend. Excited to see how far I can take it for MPG. Hope to have one of the most efficient trucks available....

Jason

Jason. welcome to the place to learn all you need to know for increasing your mpgs. just so happens I'm from waterford, living near charleston,sc. got to wonder how and why youre going so far for your truck. I know your likely to drive right by 20 or so of them on the way to sc.

Looking for 4cyl supercab Rangers with 5spds used is a lot more selective than I anticipated. They nearly all have a V6 or Auto transmission, or regular cab....

I know how it is when you start looking for something specific, when I was trying to find my honda hx i relized that arent many for sale in my area. sc has a relativly small marketplace compared to detroit. I have driven many a mile to get what I wanted. I thought maybe the trip was family related for you. hey also interested in your screen name whats that all about?
