Hello everybody!

Hello!

I drive a gas sucking 1996 Ford Thunderbird LX with 3.8L v6. I recently purchased a Scangauge II to help me get better mileage and while researching it I found this site. I look forward to implementing the various mods and techniques I've read about on this site to help improve my mileage.

Thankfully my commute right now doesn't exist since I don't have a job at the moment. But once I get a job it would probably be about 30 miles one way with a few hills and some flat areas.
My mpg is around what the EPA values showed: 17 city, 23-24 highway. I really hope that with the help of the Scangauge and the info from this site, I can increase those numbers some.
I have started shifting into neutral at stoplights since my Scangauge showed it reduces my gallons per hour a little bit.
