Hello from Quebec smart owner

Hello there,

I just found out about this forum. Found lot of interesting information so far!

I'm the owner of a 2006 Smart ForTwo. I bought it last summer for my commuter, fun, week-end car. Well actually... this is my only car. I sold my Miata for it

I like it a lot. This car is very rewarding for FE driving. I added the scangauge just last week and enjoy the car even more with it!!! Instant readout is priceless.

Now I just need a good ol' mechanic boost gauge.

Right now I am at about 4.35L/100 km over the ~25 000 km I had the car for.
Put that to 53.6MPG (US) or 64.3MPG (Imp).

That's mix city/highway driving. So exactly at what EPA rate the car for.. I find that quite interesting.

It's way better if I do highway only.

My mileage will probably improve now that I have the scangauge II

Wow - big change! Except for the number of seats. My relatives in Ottawa with the '90 Miata were actually considering doing the same trade.

It takes the efficiency game to a new level, doesn't it?

You should add your smart to the garage so it appears with your username in your posts. Helps everyone get an idea where you're coming from.
