Another 92 VX in here

Hello everybody!

My Name is Shags, and i just bought my second VX. I owned a 95 which i chopped up and what not to make a fast car, not knowing how hard they were to find. Now i just bought a 92 civic VX that i want to get the most MPG i can out of it. it's rusty, but mechanically sound with 170,xxx miles.

Been a friend of TomO on this board for awhile, and just finally decided to join.

Glad to have you onboard, Shags!

Get comfy and enjoy the hours of reading that EM will provide for your car.

You should tell them the story of how you came to get your VX...it's pretty good and would be appreciated by others on here.

thanx! It's a bit rusty, but i think it will be a good start to try a few things. being from minnesota dealing with different climate changes is going to be interesting while modding it.

Story behind the car,
The previous owners of the car wanted to make sure they found a good home for the car, and someone that would love it and not wreck it and rice it out. So they searched the net and found TomO on here, and offered it to him because they liked how he took care of his. but his wife said no to another car. So TomO said no but he knew someone else that would(me). They said sure, and TomO and myself took a road trip to Iowa in his VX to go get it. Very nice people. were still the original owners of the car, and took excellent care of it. they had records for every tank of gas put in the car, how many miles were on the car, how many gallons it took, and how much gas was written down in a small notebook.
