This is basically the brochure Andrew made for the MPG Rally in Lacey, WA. It was popular at the booth and good take-away for those interested.

I second the idea of posting your MPG on your vehicle to generate interest. Keep some brochures in your car as handouts. Excellent idea and thanks again Andrew!!

Great flyer, I'm going to go print a few up and post them around the campus (bulletin boards and such) and I'm def. doing that window marking thing, I'll stop by autozone on the way home from work and pick up a pen, I never thought to do that, that would allow me to do more real time updates on millage, could update every tank.

AndrewJ -

Thanks for the work on the flyer! I am printing it up so I can hand it out to people who ask me about ecomodder (two in the last week). I have some requests for a version 2.0 :

1 - A light or white background cover page. Black and white copies of a B&W master end up pitch black on the cover page. This soaks up a lot of toner (not eco-friendly).

2 - Remove the "shadow mpg notebook" from page 1. Again, on copies, it interferes with the text.

3 - Two little vertical "fold marks" aligned 2/3rds-ish across page 1 so that I can align the cover page for the first fold. The second fold is based on the first fold, so I don't need anything after the first fold.

If you can't do it, then that's ok, I'll work with it.

another suggestion for version 2.0 - with all the "crap" hypermilers have been taking in the press - maybe a short statement or 2 clearly stating that the priorities of a Hylermiler are.. ( I know these are Common sence - but the Media seems to think we are all tailgating - light running - waiting to start a Road Rage incedent group of people - and clearly we are NOT!

Hypermiler Rules of Engagement:
1 - Obey all traffic laws - no tailgating - no running red lights - no driving below posted minimum Speedlimits
2 - Adjust techniques for traffic flow - when roads are congested adjust to not become a hinderance to other drivers
3 - Hypermileing to improve fuel economy.

Just a thought to help curb all the "HATEN" going on our there.

Steve

I have to agree with the last 2 posts about the brochures. I just printed up about 50 of them and they look great, but a few minor tweaks would make them that much better.
