Hi!

I found this site a while back...and haven't posted...bounced around the net like a billion times looking for several other partially unrelated things...and this is an amazing resource...So I signed up, and continued lurking...but I felt like actually saying 'hi' and I guess I'll do the short bio thing while I'm at it...lol

At the moment, I work for a car dealership doing oil changes...not that great, but I'm learning more about the vehicles...esp the hybrids... I drive an '82 Mercury Capri with a 3.3L and I'm getting around 25mpg with nearly no modifications...IDK if a temporary PS delete counts? lol! Anyway, this site keeps coming up when I start digging around for DIY EV stuff...and that's something I find really interesting, because...well, it's environmentally friendly and comes out to a much lower cost of maintenance and mileage...so ya

Congrats on the de-lurking, wolfraven.

Power steering delete counts as a mod!

lol but it's temporary was why I said IDK if it counts...the threaded holes in the rack aren't threaded anymore and I ran out of money just getting the parts...the old pump was dead weight and only worked for like...15 minutes...but, mechanical restoration also improves gas mileage lol
