I live in Brazil, and back here the Tiburon was never available with any engine smaller than 2.0L. How does it perform with the 1.6L?

it performs just fine! it was two 1.6 engines avaliable, the 1.6 Beta engine and the 1.6 alpha II engine (116hp/105hp) mine is the most advanced, the alpha II engine, it's more eco and have the same torque earlier (at 300rpm) it was introduced because of the EURO 3. it isn't a lot slower than the 2.0!

in other countries there was also a 1.8 displacement avaliable!

Hi, H_RD2.

I was in Portugal briefly a couple of years ago... well, a few kilometers off the mainland coast: http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...ing-17941.html

What are your goals with your car? Have you been tracking your fuel economy all along? You're right to start with instrumentation, and focus on driving technique (it's where you'll save the most fuel).

If you can't get your ScanGauge to work because of the MAF issue, you'll need to use an MPGuino, which measures fuel use directly by tapping into an injector signal.

Welcome to the forum!
