Hi from New Zealand
Have just joined. I am from New Zealand down at the bottom of the world. I have a 1999 Toyota Vitz (Yaris in northern hemisphere) with a 1.0 sz-fe engine and automatic transmission. The best hypermiling result to date is 4.82 litres/100km or 58.6MPG over 380km (236 miles).

I love the Vitz, Gran Turismo series, and I love New Zealand, nat geo/FOTC, but I have nothing really to add, other than, Welcome!

I'm envious, as usual, with the smaller engine options you folks have that we never get in North America.
Too bad about the automatic transmission, but apparently you're doing respectably with it!
Did they offer this car with a manual? I was very surprised to learn that the new Mitsu Mirage comes ONLY with the CVT in New Zealand, whereas Australia gets both CVT/manual gearboxes.
