I prefer the ones that are somewhat right but exaggerated, like the guy pushing scanguages then telling you to use acetone to raise fuel economy by 30%, oh wait the 30% improvement is only on the scanguage since its tricked by acetone.
Or the cat before your carb designs where you can only operate your motor at one RPM but you get fantastic FE
The water one is interesting, apparently you can run a diesel car on 20-50% water if you emulsify it, not a hoax, too bad there isn't the home emulsification kit, I would buy one in a heartbeat. Those million gallon a day jobs are too large.
Cheers

fiat 244 mpg
[QUOTE=silverinsight2;181290]'Sayin this was a hoax Frank?
How about a 244mpg Fiat?
Hey guys. I am presently the owner of the Fiat. I will entertain any questions pertaining to the car. Until everyone understands how the mileage was achieved, there really isn't any reason for people to call it a hoax. Research first before conclusions are drawn. The net is full of answers. One only needs to ask.

Hi Ken, excellent work.
Specs as can be found on your site.
I believe it could do 244mpg on a closed circuit, at low speed, no suspension, no generator, oversized tires on high pressure, engine insulation, gearbox insulation, heavy P&G, etc.
That plus the car was already very light to begin with.
My car has none of that and can do 70 mpg or better in warm weather, driven at a constant pace of 35 mph. It must be over 3 times as heavy as the little Fiat. I have no doubt whatsoever that the Fiat could do 244 mpg.

Who called it a hoax?
Wow, completely forgot about this thread. Need to add George Wiseman's pickups. Just think if George joins forces with Palmear- put a George axle under a Palmear Mustang and STAND BACK!!!

How about the smart? Wasnt it getting 100 mpg in its native country and when they imported it to the US it was epa to like 40 something?
Either the mpg vehicle fails to mature or the end result gets a fraction of the projected or estimated mpg. Im sure the Elio will be one of the 2.
