Honda CRX HF in Canada?

I didn't know where else to post this, but I hope some of my fellow Canuckians can answer this question for me. Was the CRX HF ever sold in Canada, or was it a US model only? I finally saw one for sale, but it was an American car that had been imported into Canada at some point in it's life. I realized at that point that that was in fact the only one I had ever seen up here.

I am trying to trade the guy for it, he works at a tuner shop and took it on trade for some work he did. I don't mind trading him something from the fleet, but the $2800 he is asking is not going to happen. The thing is rough, but at least it's still stock. I almost want to get it more to keep it from getting riced out than to drive it lol

Interesting question!

Wiki suggests that it was a U.S. market car: Honda CR-X - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

If true, that puts it there with the Metro XFi as fuel sippers we didn't get north of the 49th.

More evidence it was US-only: CRX HF Question... - Honda-Tech

Chassis code info shows DX, HF & Si for the U.S., but only DX & Si for Canada:

Ya know I was starting to get that feeling, but to be honest I wasn't sure if I just hadn't noticed them around before. Only trouble is, now I want it more ha ha
