Honda Insight engine, transmission, battery, computer

I'll be pulling the guts out of my car soon to do an engine swap, and will be putting them up for sale. I'll need to keep my wiring harness, but from the looks of it, a harness can be found on eBay for as little as $100.

Engine has 235k miles at the time of this post, great compression, burns zero measurable oil between 7,500 mile changes. It has a new thermostat, and before sale I would check the valve adjustment and clean out the EGR passages. There are plenty of examples of these engines running past 400k miles (and even some 650+) if not abused.

The transmission currently grinds when downshifting into 2nd, but does not grind if double clutched. There is a well documented fix for this which I'll perform once it's out of the car.

Exhaust system is in great shape despite being in salt country:

Battery is strong, I estimate it has at least 5 years of service left depending on your climate. In the north, it may last much longer. I can't guarantee anything though.

This should swap over fully functional into any vehicle you want, it's a relatively primitive system. You may need a resistor to emulate the climate control saying that autostop is ready, and you may want a G1 gauge cluster.

I'm thinking $800 for the battery and all related computers, $600 for the transmission, $350 for the engine, $75 for the ECU, $175 for the catalytic converters and wideband O2 sensor, $100 for axles. $1800 takes it all.
