Such mileage is more comparable to small-displacement motorcycles than to any car I ever drove...

Yeah I pretty-much stopped riding my CBR 250 R because it's now less fuel efficient than this Insight.

You mean that short-lived single-cylinder? Due to its fairing it might be also better aerodynamically-wise than some utilitarian motorcycles with even smaller engines I was referring to.
