Hey Scott, (sendler) have you seen the sister to the NC700x... The CTX700??!! It has a much lower seat height, same DCT, FF pegs and rides like a scoot! With your commute, i'll bet you could easily get it into the 90's for mpg! :{)

They are definitely better for long trekking, but my occasional 1hr 15 min commute is great for my PCX
