How to 3800 powersteering delete

So I recently unhooked the power steering in my lesabre and here's how I did it
I got the parts from napa
Parts needed
Shorter serpentine belt p.n. 25-060670
90mm tensioner pulley p.n. 38007

The belt is a tight fit and has to be because the tensioner will be about at the end of its travel hence the larger pulley. What I did was to keep most of the stock routing except instead of the belt going from the water pump to the belt goes straight to the alternator

who needs power steering when you're in nebraska, i dont know if ive even needed the steering wheel going through.

on a less sarcastic note, my '94 olds 88 was awful, largely due to strut mounts hanging up

How did you know the part for the new shorter belt? Did you measure it or use the part from a model not equipped with power steering?

I measured then found a belt that was the right size I have no idea what vehicle its actualy for. Its a bit of work to steer but I still have the lines hooked up to the pump
