Pick a junkyard with decent prices from car-part.com and ask if they have the resonator. I've gotten unlisted parts that way before.

Research the prices of parts that I do not need?

Research the vehicle you need, parts are optional.

When I needed a filler neck for the Nut Wagon, I looked for a yard with a cheap gas tank and asked if they had the filler neck. They did!

Car-part calls it the "Air Tube/Resonator"

"Car-Part.com could not match your request."

At least now I know what they call it.

Weird. Someone on reddit gave me almost the exact same suggestion. IPDaily, is that you?! (not his username)

I found another junkyard, just over half an hour away. The lady confirmed that she had one (or more) four-cylinder Accords of my vintage, but she did not know what an intake resonator was. They had one V6 and two 2.3ls, but neither of the latter had their resonators. One had the frame bent in that exact spot.

I heard back from LKQ! They want $86.47!
