I knew there was a reason I kept my VCR around!

Speaking of obsolete media, I was just at my Grandparents, and brought home a box full of LP records! Yes, I have a record player; right next to the VCR. (do you suppose there's a laptop inside my record player?)

No, but I bet my BetaMax player has a self-supported GPS system and nuclear launch capability!

What do you think I'll find in an 8-track player?

BTW: A few years ago I was taking apart an old TV, circa early 1960's, huge vacuum lamps etc., and inside I found a 42" flat OLED TV. Unfortunately, this was before LCD TVs were available, so I didn't even know what it was. I just saved a few screws, nuts and bolts for the workshop and tossed the rest. Gee, and what would it be worth today?
