Hi all, I'm new here. But just want to join the topic.
I have a drivers licence since 2009. and so far I think have done more than 35 000 miles. It's not much because my dad didn't let me drive his car to much. But at the end of the 2011. I got my own car and now the miles are flying

When i had the Infiniti Q45, I was averaging 35-40k a year. I was self-employed and had clients all over California.
But also the Q was a GREAT road car (with the electronic suspension!).
I also drove to Texas 2-3 times a year for a week or two of vacation.

With the Kia Sportage, I might hit 18k this year, but now I live in Texas and have a job w/ just a daily comute.

Haven't figured it in miles, but I filled up both the car & pickup last month (2/20 and 2/23), just when gas prices started climbing. One of my credit cards has a 5% cash-back deal on gas this quarter, so I filled the pickup again yesterday: a little over 7 gallons, or half a tank. The Insight is likewise at about half a tank, so will take 4-5 gallons to fill. So figuring reasonable mpg figures for both, that's about 175 miles in the pickup, 350 in the Insight. If I could keep the same monthly driving for a year (I won't, though), that'd be about 6300 miles per year.

I drive 13,000 miles a year just to/from work. Add to that pleasure driving and I'd say I'm on par with 20,000 or so a year.

Last year I did 15.5k miles last year, this year should significantly lower.

Well, April 01 of this year marked 1 year of driving, and I hit 28,200 miles.
This equates to 2,350 a month, or apprx. 78.3 a day.
