In Siberia the schools only close when it gets below -40 which is the same temperature both Farenheit and Centigrade. Coldest I have experienced is -17 on top of a mountain in Pennsylvania, snow skiing. with a wind chill of -39. I'll take the Fla Keys .

What is the saying? Once you are below -40°F, it is all the same.

Of course, they say that of being above 100°F, and I attest that there is a great difference!

I was in -40 one night in Fairbanks back in 06. We snuck into China Hot Springs at 2:00am. Our hair would freeze solid when we came out of the water in about 7 seconds. Good times!
