But batteries are different. Looking on eBay, the cheapest ones are around $700 and are 15 years old, almost ready to die themselves. Something with several years left on it will cost around $2,000.

my tahoe hybrid has a 14 year old battery build date jan 2008 needs to be replaced though
I need to manually restart the engine from autostop(by shifting to M4) This has caused a significant amount of wear to the lower shiftier bushing.. but it's cheaper to replace a 20$ part and a few twist ties, then replace a 6,000$ part...
Fuel mpg is significantly better after switching from 10% ethanol to 0% ethanol.. i was getting about 17-18mpg with 10%
Gas mileage is 30.2 to 32.2mpg with ethanol Free fuel... that is in v8 mode... it can STAY in the hidden infinity gear.(EVT gear) with the ethanol free gas the engine is barely idling at 40mph(1,050rpm)...
with the ethanol fuel it downshifts.. there by using far more fuel 1200-1400rpm
2 weeks in a row i'm above 30mpg just driving to and from work...i fill up every Thursday but did it today because i got a feeling the price was going to go up tomorrow ...
I did a few tests putting the "cheaper" station VS the other station the fuel mpg dropped significantly(week over week)
I also confirmed the gas is better quality by putting it in my 2013 Toyota corolla 1.8L confirmed 45MPG highway
That is 11mpg over the rated EPA value which is 26/34
