Old Mech, This is an old thread but I thought I would revisit it. Tried to PM you but don't have enough posts yet. I'm thinking of starting a hydraulic hybrid project on a Geo Metro. The two problems I'm concerned about are leakage and high GPM usage at high RPMs. Would love to pick your brain on both issues.

Wow! It's been 4 years!

Here are some photos of the frame shaping up. The patent was issued a little over 3 years ago. Also the Honda diesel engine, Harley trans, and VW front end. Later when we built the hydraulic drive it will replace the Harley transmission. It could also use batteries and an electric motor in place of the Diesel. Tires are the same size used on the Smart Car. Trailing arm is allso VW.
