Hydrogen assist?

I am curious if anyone here has experimented with hydrogen assist batteries. I have seen a few of these products before. I don't understand how they work but I am interested in it.

A quick google search for "Hydrogen Assist Batteries" didn't turn up anything for me.

Do you have a link to what you're talking about?

As far as I know there are the uses for hydrogen.

One is the unicorn HHO generator that makes your engine less efficient by using it's power to generate hydrogen and then using that to burn it. Each step in energy conversion loses energy due to inefficiency, so the end result is a less efficient engine.

Another is the hydrogen ICE where the spark ignited engine runs off of hydrogen.

The other is hydrogen fuel cell technology that is basically a battery that recharges via supplying it with hydrogen. The question is, where would you get the hydrogen???
