95 F250 have 3.55 in axle with 31" tire plus .76 overdrive.


You don't average drive highway 50K miles a years? I know how it handle on highway due weight and height.

For those of us in the civilised world, what is a Ford Explorer ?

Is it something that boldly crosses shallow streams in search of new lands ?

That's certainly the image they want to project. In reality, it is usually a mom driving her single child to day-care on city streets... Or some guy who actually needs a minivan to haul his family around, but wants to think he's outdoorsy and rugged.

As for the vehicle, it's an SUV. Think "full sized pickup with a bed cap permanently installed, with lots of seats" and you're pretty close.

Exploders are more mid-sized though. Expedition is full sized, and Excursion is XXL.

No way I am not back in Minivan. I carry nearby 2K lb of steel plate in there it fit no problem.

It amazing how many ignorant person who called me BS when I got 25 mpg out that explorer. How I say BS to those people that get 50-70 mpg out Honda Civic.

i think people just want to see proof

im sure a lot of people said BS to someone who said they got 60mpg+ in a civic
