We made a run into Logan airport today to pickup my Mom (from Texas)
and on the way back, I was talking to her in the back seat a bit.
Judging from how well I could hear her, I don't think there is much
of an increase in wind noise from the hatch or gutter/side skirts mods.

I normally keep my Nuvi 200 GPS at 70% volume, but today I could still
hear it okay at 50%, so the wind noise is lower or has not increased.

So far, I'm liking the Blue Bonnet and the police have not pulled me over yet!

Do you mean the rear cap like the one in the pic or Wake Boards or
a inset Frame extension box like they use on trailers?

That's what I was talking about... but I was tired... and talking doesn't work well when you're tired...

(that was kinda hard to type... I'm getting really tired)

Looking at the way the Frame Extension works by creating little vortex
funnels right in the Step down area where the extension is attached..

Wouldn't you need clean attached air flowing over that inset?
I believe those Strake boards are going to detach the air

by inducing vortex turbulence off each Strake stick.
Thus, not allowing the Frame Extension vortexs to be created.

I would skip the Strakes.. Plus they are going to add some drag..
