Cool, call me old fashion, but for some odd reason, id prefer handle bars and brake levers.
So with the gyro, can it be leaned into turns, or is it straight and handles like a car?

Fiat 600D Record (1962)
https://hodor.lol/post/30436/

They kept the driver's head in the typical location, mid-point of the wheelbase.
There is some driver disorientation in judging distances with the windshield so far away that should be avoided if not a fully autonomous vehicle.
Perhaps we shall see a resurgence of such designs once the technology is there and if resources are sparse enough to motivate the public in this direction.
As it sat in 1962, would be like the bad dream I used to have of trying to steer a car from the backseat.

I like the range of body styles for the Squirrel. 1/4-ton pickup and van included.
Here are the bodies projected for the 1930s Chrysler PentaStar with a FWD five-cylinder radial engine.

Ramps parked in the "up" position are a pet peeve of mine, especially when the trailer is empty. I see it so often I have to wonder if it's impossible to put 'em down on the bed especially when the trailer is empty? But then I remember the rows upon rows of new ones with their ramps down flush. I get the urge to run up to Homo rampus erectus and slap some sense into 'em.
The second thing regarding ramps is there is no effort made to clamp/damp their mounting such that the whole pile of rolling isht doesn't rattle clash and clang over every expansion joint and pothole. A little piece of rubber here, and a wedge or clamp there, and it would all go away. But why not sound like a POS whenever the opportunity presents itself?

The next generation Corvette (may?) have 3 active aerodynamic features:

Active side skirts, active rear deflector, and active front ducts to generate downforce.

If I recall correctly Arrowhead cited 12% of a road vehicles drag is the cooling system and when properly vented can reduce that figure down to 2% of total drag. The article seem to doubt Grill blocking as a true economy measure and said it was more about performance and credits. Im convenced it helps economy 2 fold thermal efficiency as will it air flow.

Active side skirts. Now there is an interesting concept.
How far down is best? If they only activate when the car is above 50 kph, the roads should be flat enugh so you could bring the skirts down to 1cm - 1/2 inch from the ground.
