Interesting EV Projects

Here's an interesting EV project that shares some construction techniques similar to my CarBEN EV5 project:

Stan gets the credit for finding that project - here is their webpage:

ZWOS

I'm interested in the honeycomb material - it may be a solution for attaching the wheels and suspension on CarBEN?

That's odd -- I watched via a link in the PM Stan sent me and it worked fine. Is is a crowd-funding video so maybe it requires a different link? Nope - the status changed since this morning. :-(

This is the prototype that was in the video:

Okay, the video is up and working again:

The EZ-EV Open Source Electric Kit Car | Indiegogo

The fellow's name is Gary Krysztopik and I had come across him in Facebook, and only now put two and two together. His project is open source (like CarBEN EV5) and he's using CNC to cut layers that get stacked; though in the EZ-EV he is using honeycomb composite sheets rather than foam.

I like the idea of steel sleeves in fiberglass tubes in the honeycomb; it has got me thinking of how to use it...

Yours is still prettier, though.
