Oh NO, not the Dodge!

I came across that many years ago...

That "piece" is so bogus I ain't even gonna read it again.

Well... maybe later, for entertainment, if I get bored.

Franck, for the no-knowledge man I am, could you please give some examples.

Thanks in advance,

Denis.

I saw a 57.9% increase in fuel economy (but I wasn't getting the stock EPA fuel economy rating, it nets a 20% improvement over the EPA rating). Horsepower based on 1/4 mile time says I gained 36.6% (34 HP), which I account mainly to the very poor breathing of the stock 2.2.
Look at these claims, all from bits of dryer hose. No porting, no camming, no nothing except this hose. I don't think so.

Thanks.

While reading I simply ignored the amount of improvement and just read the numbers as a positive/negative improvements.

The rest of the document, all numbers replaced by 'positif' or 'negatif', seams correct to me.

Plug his numbers into a turbo boost calculator... I did it once back in the day re: this very article. To get that kind of HP increase require much more boost than available from "subsonic" atmospheric ram pressure.

Ram air has been a big thing in motorcycle circles some years ago, leading to heated debates

It seems to help, if you drive at speeds that no hypermiler wants to go, and where fuel efficiency has already long gone down the drain.
