Intro post

Hi all,

ran across this site while doing some aimless surfing... er, I mean, researching my recent purchase of an '89 Metro.

After lurking for a week or so, decided to join up.

S'pose I could post a pic of the car, but that means I'd need to go take one... and anyway, we all know what a Geo Metro looks like, right?

Anyway, I haven't done any mods to the car other than putting a set of 13" rims with 155's on.

Car seems to pull the taller tire just fine.

Initial rough estimate of fuel mileage before tire swap was approx. 45 MPG based on a couple of fills and reading the odometer.

Am kind of interested in seeing what kind of mileage I can squeeze out of the little thing.

Of course, my driving style is not always the most economical...

-Bill

Bill -

Welcome to EM! The Metro is an MPG Rock-Star, and there are lots of Metro-modders here, so you are in good company.

Hey Carlo, first time I've ever been welcomed by a pokemoderator!

Hoping to get even better mileage, since I use the car for work.

I can name dozens of communities around there, and it still doesn't ring a bell, but thanks for the general information.
