Introduction from a long time lurker

Hello everyone! I've been a lurker in this forum for several years and have found this forum incredibly useful and want to thank everyone who contributes immensely!! I've been driving an 02 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS for about 6 years and would like feedback on my ride. I currently have a coroplastlast rear undertray (from the rear subframe to rear bumper), wheel spats on front and rear, I used to have a coroplast front undertray from the front bumper to the end of the engine compartment ( until it melted from leaking coolant). I'm averaging about 28mpg in the city (San Antonio, TX) any suggestions? My thoughts so far, a new full bellypan from front to rear and partial grill block including relocation of front licence plate. Any suggestions? ( I do have a scanguage 2) Thank you all.
Scott from San Antonio

Please post a picture of the front of your car (head on). This may lead me to ideas.

Mostly city or highway driving?

If city, I'd recommend adding an engine kill switch. Lots to be gained from reducing idle time when coasting to turns/stops (when not in deceleration fuel cut-off mode).

If highway driving, aero mods are your friend.

I don't have a camera to post pics yet but I'll see if my sister my let me borrow her digital cam. I've thought about a kill switch but I need to replace my negative battery cable as it is very corroded I'm mostly driving along a hilly route to work under 45 mph. I do employ a lot of engine braking in my driving (love the 5 speed) not quite sure if its as effective as a kill switch. Definitely want to pursue an aero route in terms of a mpg solution. Thanks much for the replies! I do have some ideas for a grill block but lack the funds at the moment unfortunately for some nice black coroplast.

Kill switch + coasting in N > engine braking DFCO > friction braking.
