"Jump" EV bicycles (?)

This year our town is getting hundreds of these Jump orange rental electric bicycles. This business is part of Uber I think. Where do these bikes come from?

Must have come in twice- dates are too close- other link was a discussion about reasons some want them banned such as: crowding, safety, locations, etc., but no one mentioned the manufacturer.
