A great e-ternative to replace the legendary but scavenged left-over icons of its type.

NYC has yellow cabs, London has the black hacks, the Philippines has the Jeepneys. You picked it up, E-Jeepney. They even kept the trademarked vertical grill slats. This is an effort to electrify their local icon. The abandoned American surplus left after WW2 was converted first into convertible shared taxi conveyances. Soon metal roofs and bench seats on extended Jeep MBs were painted in bright folk art, chrome accessories and started a large build-from-scratch fabrication industry. It became a workhorse of local transportation and a rolling artform for local artisans.
