Heavy-duty suspension components, brakes & wheel/tire packages, cloth front seats w/ slim bolsters, designed to assist officers wearing a duty belt. Tough anti-stab plates in the front seat backs. And easy-to-hose-down heavy-duty vinyl rear seats and floor. Ford Interceptors are the only vehicles on the market designed for the 75 mph rear-impact crash test. Part of Ford's electrification program, a hybrid Mustang, a hybrid F-150 pickup truck and a 300-mile-range battery electric vehicle are planned.
