Lawn mower carb on V8 + dynamic carb controller
https://youtu.be/1xHQWu2ZzPc
Surprised I didn't see this posted somewhere on ecomodder yet (unless I just didnt find it). This guy seems to have a pretty good knowledge base.
I am in no way affiliated with him or anything, just happened to see his stuff on youtube.

I hadn't seen your post so I accidentally cross-posted about this on central. Hopefully we get some discussion going about this on here. Is he pulling our leg or is this for real?

He's scamming and trying to sell another super FE Carb. Got give it to him hes making some $$$ on YouTube
A 36 mile test isn't going to prove anything. Fill the tank and at least go 300 miles for a real test.

Yeah, the more I thought about it the more this seemed like a grift.

Seems like, on the very first intake stroke, the float-bowl would be completely emptied of fuel.
They'll only run a lawn mower to 2500-3000 rpm, under load. My 1.3-liter Honda CRX was rated at 6,000 rpm. A four-banger, not a one-lung'r.

Well several months later the guy hasn't tried to sell anything. The lawnmower carb V8 has been on the dyno, he took it on the powertour which is what 1,000+ miles, so it works and thousands of people saw it in action.
This shouldn't be in the unicorn corral.

carb
I'll revisit the thread next week. I haven't seen a word yet about the carb.

The carb is absolutely nothing special, probably a 16 to 20hp horizontal draft lawn mower carb, no special inside mods. The only thing kind of interesting was his O2 sensor feeding back to an idle air control to trim the air fuel mix.
It's all junk anyone can buy off ebay, down load off the Internet or 3d print them selves.

Carburador de Fusca Brosol Solex 32 VW Beetle Carburetor
by scalla3d April 22, 2020
The philosophy for the VW Beetle IIRC was a 'large' displacemant throttled by the intake and pea shooters. The 36HP had a single 28mm, eventually the Type II had twin 32s and tuned header lengths inside the stock muffler.

Not the carb, for the thunderhead289 guy.
He 3d printed the intake adaptor plenum and some throttle linkage parts. The carb was die cast chinesium.
He's pushing 40mpg without lean burn, one of those guys that thinks running lean is bad. Used to be me too.
