LED bulbs for $1.50ea! (Washington State)

I just picked up a 2-pack of 60W equivalent LED lightbulbs for $2.99. (Specifically this brand: https://www.greenliteusa.com/ )

I'm planning to try them out and if I like them, buy a pile of them for our house we're building.

PSE (Western Washington power company) provides a list of all the places you can buy them with their rebate:

Jealous! The closest location to me is Olympia, 1.5 hours from Portland
I just bought 3 led bulbs at Lowe's and spent ~$15.
I could have swapped out all the bulbs in my apartment for the same price at $1.50 each

The deal is good till August in case you are ever up this way.

They appear to be well made and they are plenty bright enough. My only complaint is that they only come in 3000K and I like more of a pure white/slightly blue light (4000K-4500K). So they are a little too warm for me and I'll likely pass on them.

Even if I don't make it up that way my mom's side of the family all live in Olympia; I'm sure one of my uncles/aunts/cousins would send me some if I asked!

That reminds me, if you are a Duke Energy customer, you can pick up real cheap LED light bulbs through them.

Free and Discounted Bulbs- - Residential-Duke Energy

For example, I can buy an 10 watt LED for $1.97 right now.
Quote:
TCP's 10w LED A Lamp provides 800 lumens of energy efficient illumination (80 lm/w), which is generally equivalent to the amount of light produced by a 60 watt incandescent, or a 13 watt compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulb. The 25,000 hour life will eliminate repeated re-lamping (incandescents typically last 800 to 1,000 hours, while CFLs typically last 6,000 to 10,000 hours). This high efficacy LED light contains no mercury, emits virtually no UV/IR light, will not fade colors, and will provide an even, diffuse light source. It is fully dimmable to 10 percent, and is very cost effective. This lamp is considered omnidirectional, in that the light will be projected in all directions
Of course, they go up from there. From what I've seen, they are roughly half the price of LED lights from the local Walmart.
