Let's hear it for Estonia! (Country covered by network of charging stations)

Estonia launches national electric car charging network
165 charging points around the country will use direct current to charge cars in less than 30 minutes

It says that charging points are no more than 60km apart- so even the New York Times should be able to operate one without too many complaints.

The same thing has been done here in Québec by the national electricity company HydroQuébec. EV charging stations everywhere now since the beginning in 2012

Can they? Yes, should they be charged like that on a regular basis, no.

Also note that Estonia is about the size of Connecticut.

Some chemistrys are good for insanely fast charging- it won't be needed much but it will make buyers less worried about range.
