The original Vetter WindJammer of the Goldwing allows air to come up from under the fairing through the neck and triple trees also. There are also what would appear to be RAM Air scoops on todays bikes built in, but are actually closable air vents(as in A/c funnels) I would presume since there angled straight at the riders chest.
For newer bikes small air inlets for big windshields, are there to help reduce fogging or other various weather build up on the inside surface too..
