Even though most of the cars I drove, and the ones I drive more regularly, are manuals, if I were going to blow money on a car right now I'd also rather get an automatic. I have already test-driven a Fiat Argo with the GSR automated-manual transmission, but it's not just a little rougher than a conventional automatic, it also has the disadvantage that a clutch is more likely to require replacement than a hydraulic torque converter would require some servicing.

My corolla robotic transmission ( manual but clutch is pressed by a motor and the gears are changed by a motor) was fairly efficient and ok. Not a problem in 160k km.

Toyota is known for its reliability. But anyway, that robotic transmission was never available in my country.

The interviews went ok, not really hopeful tho. Not starving to death at least

also, i got the car fixed so everything went okey.

Drove 1400km the week i was at tampere and the consumption was about 8.2L/100km/28MPG highway and 22MPG/10.3L/100Km in the city, according to the car's consumption meter.

I wouldnt say its far from the truth, i stared intensely at the fuel gauge :P

i wonder what kind of drivig suits an automatic best? Also, gotta fix a vac leak that keps the cruise control from workin. Oor its the lesft stalk, the blinker doesnt return automatically either so something else might be broke too.
