Thumbs up Life goes on: The Large Barge (Volvo S70)

Sometimes things dont go as planned. I decided to buy myself some more luxurious this time Twingo was rusted to the pits of Hades so it wont pass inspection

Oh deary me, barely 22 and i already wanted a grampa car gone far from the Celica days ay?

Well, its driven 220K miles and i bought it pretty cheap though

Specs
2.5 10v, 144Hp
Automatic
leather seats
working AC
working central locking

I know it's gonna slurp a lot more fuel, but now i want some comfort (and modding always helps haha)

it needs a new oil pan, exhaust, tires and brake parts. Was still pretty cheap

Well, in absolute terms crippling rust on a Twingo is barely freckles on an S70. Twingos are pretty lightweight, surface rust is already nearly rust-through.

What's wrong with that? I like MPVs from a younger age, for example.

Most cars I drove didn't even have that much power. But anyway, those old 5-cyl Volvo engines are interesting.

Automatic
Is that going to be your first long-term experience with an automatic?

No doubt about it. Plus they're usually easier to repair than the AL4 used by French automakers.

Yes, it slurps gasoline like a sponge, but that's a small minus if you value things like safety, comfy ride and towing ability

also, modding will surely help!

automatics are very easily influenced by driving
