Will do... is there a reason you run premium fuel? Timing advance?

Yup, I run max. timing advance. Also higher energy density than ethanol blends (premium has no ethanol).

But it's just for the good numbers; it probably makes no economic sense. (If I burned more fuel in a year, I might not do it.)

What do you set your base timing too? I actually dont care about saving the money....only getting max fuel economy. Thats the fun part for me anyhow.

I never figured out how to jumper the right pins to set the base timing properly on my '98 (it's different than the older cars).

So I just twist the distributor. And it's currently twisted as far forward as it goes. I'll probably have to back it off a bit in the summer heat.

Good to hear.

In the 4's ... you mean L/100 KM? Or in the 40's MPG US?

Do it!

Redneck's tail is good - copy him.

Mid/high 4's ... that's decent for city driving. There's more where that came from.
